OSU offers need-based scholarships that require students to submit the FAFSA or ORSAA before the priority deadline of February 28th. In addition OSU students can apply for college and departmental scholarships starting November 1st through . College of Business scholarship deadlines are posted in OSU ScholarDollars with most having a deadline of March 31. See below for additional details.

Undergraduate scholarships

The College of Business offers numerous scholarships to new and continuing students.

New students

for admission to OSU by February 1 to be automatically considered for university-level scholarships. If you apply after February 1, you will be considered for these scholarships on a funds -available basis.

Financial Emergency/Hardship Scholarship Request

If you are a Corvallis, Portland or Ecampus College of Business (COB) student facing an urgent, unexpected financial crisis that could disrupt your education, you may request emergency scholarship support by filling out this application in ScholarDollar. This program is not for ongoing or routine financial needs but is meant to address true emergencies.
Below are examples of eligible and ineligible expenses for assistance. Please note these lists are not exhaustive.

Possible Expenses Covered by the Financial Hardship Scholarship

  • Temporary housing or utilities
  • Food or basic needs due to a sudden crisis
  • Emergency medical costs or medications
  • Replacement of essential belongings after theft, fire, or disaster
  • Safety-related expenses (e.g., changing locks)
  • Travel for urgent family situations

What's NOT Covered

  • Tuition, fees, or study abroad costs
  • Recurring expenses like rent or standard utilities
  • Non-essential items, entertainment, or fines
  • Expenses incurred due to poor financial planning

This scholarship is a one-time resource for emergencies and not intended for regular aid. For ongoing financial support, students should explore resources like the Ìý´Ç°ùÌýCAFE here in the College of Business.

Availability & Exclusions

Financial emergency scholarships are available in Fall, Winter, and Spring terms. Students may receive support only once, with exclusions that may apply. Support amounts may range up to $1,000. For more information, contact COBScholarships@oregonstate.edu.

After your application is reviewed, the College of Business scholarship team will email you with the decision and any relevant resources.
