It provides a short summary of the research on how successful DEI initiatives advance business goals, the historical context for DEI work, and definitions of several key terms and concepts that are commonly used in DEI literature. The course takes approximately 30 minutes to complete.

This short, self-paced training is directed at managers, employee resource group members, HR professionals, and anyone invested in DEI work in their organization. It provides an overview of remote work and DEI, ways in which remote work can promote and challenge DEI efforts, and a series of practical strategies designed especially for promoting inclusion in remote workplaces. The course takes approximately 15 minutes to complete.

This short, self-paced training is directed at members of search committees, hiring managers, diversity and inclusion professionals, and human resources professionals. It provides a refresher on why diversity, equity and inclusion makes good business sense before focusing on bias: what it is, how to identify it during the hiring process, and practical steps that can be taken to address it in order to recruit diverse, talented candidate pools. Onpoint Credit Union
As the pursuit of racial justice and economic equity continues, many industries and organizations across the country are looking inward. Locally, OnPoint Community Credit Union, which employs roughly 1,000 people and serves more than 410,000 members and 33,000 businesses across ºÚÁÏÍø¹ÙÍø and southwest Washington, is one such organization.

Partnering with ºÚÁÏÍø¹Ù꿉۪s Center for Advancing Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in Business, OnPoint launched an online, self-paced DEI learning module series for OnPoint employees to advance the organization’s critical work in this area.

The first set of modules, released in March 2021, is part of a larger effort for OnPoint to examine its policies and practices through an equity lens.

Engagement
The voluntary learning program has been well-received by OnPoint employees, with over 75% of employees completing it to date.
Confidence
Participating employees have expressed an increased confidence in their knowledge of DEI and a better understanding of the historical implications specific to the banking industry.
