
Frank Sampson

Biography
Frank Sampson is a retired information technology professional residing in Lake Oswego, ºÚÁÏÍø¹ÙÍø. After obtaining a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Information Systems from Washington State University in 1984, he began his career in IT with Chevron Corporation in the San Francisco Bay Area. Initially working as a programmer/analyst developing mainframe applications, Frank had the opportunity, during his almost 30 year career, to see and participate in the evolution of business computing from mainframe systems to network-based applications on PCs, the web and finally to today’s modern devices that sometimes make the technology in Star Trek seem quaint. During the last 10 years of his career, Frank served as Vice President and Technical Manager for Kipe Technology resources, a Beaverton-based IT staffing company led by his wife and OSU alumna Carol Sampson. Frank’s broad experience includes work with a variety of large business and government organizations and involves a diverse set of roles ranging from application development and software architecture to business systems analysis.
