Flexible program leads to career milestones

Alan Hansen completed his MBA in organizational leadership, part-time, piece by piece, taking both online and hybrid classes and enjoying each one.

The Bend, ºÚÁÏÍø¹ÙÍø, resident also gave himself "promotions" during the years he worked on his degree — with moves to new jobs within Bend's vibrant economic environment. One as a director of project management at the iconic Deschutes Brewery, and then another as Onboard Dynamics' director of project engineering.

Once a startup funded by U.S. Department of Energy's Advanced Research Projects Agency, Onboard Dynamics is a mobile, scalable, affordable technology platform producing energy from natural gas compression technology. Hansen’s trust in the quality of the ºÚÁÏÍø¹ÙÍø State MBA served him well.
